Emulsion Frame Cards

Hello stampers! I have two cards to share today, made with Darkroom Door's new Emulsion Frame stamp.

First up is a Father's Day card, also using the new Steam Locomotive Collage Stamp. The card would work just as well with a different sentiment, such as for a birthday. The train was stamped with black ink on smooth cardstock and coloured with Distress Ink. I have a thing for train stamps and this one is lovely.

The Emulsion Frame was the perfect size for the collage stamp and I decided to emboss it on top of the train with white embossing powder. This forms a really great frame for the collage stamp and makes it stand out more. The sentiment was stamped on a Curvy Tattered Banner die cut. There is an old book page behind the train.

For the background, I used a Prima patterned paper and stamped it with the World Map Background stamp and Tree Bark Archival Ink.

On the second card, I used the Emulsion Frame to frame a Quote stamp. We had this particular saying on a wall in my Primary School and I always like it. The frame was stamped with black ink on a ticket die cut, which was inked with Distress Inks. I stamped the sentiment with Watering Can ink. Some dots were white embossed with the Dots Texture stamp and I distressed the edges of the ticket.

The Mini Prize Ribbon was die cut from mat board twice, using only the circle from the second die cut. After inking, it was stamped with the Sheet Music Background stamp and coated with Glossy Accents.

The background was stamped with the Brick Wall stamp, using Watering Can ink, and inked with yellow and orange Distress Inks.

Thank you for visiting my blog today!

Happy Stamping!
